On Friday the 24^th of March the North Notts Women’s Business Awards were held at North Notts Arena, Worksop!

Hollie Kemp, Transport Manager at DUKE Distribution was nominated for the award by James Robinson and Dale Robinson MD & Chairman. After attending the finalist announcement networking event in the weeks prior, Hollie was thrilled to learn she was a finalist and invited to attend the NNWB event. Hollie was nominated for her dedication and hard work. James Robinson, Managing Director said, “ Hollie is an outstanding employee who is considered by everyone (this is often commented on) as the backbone to DUKE Distribution Ltd”. Speaking with Hollie she states “ To be nominated for such a prestigious award means more than I could ever express, to be announced as the winner still hasn’t sunk in. Working in Transport I face many challenges and often feel the ever-lingering stigma of working in road haulage as a women, this award has proven that not only can I do my job, but do it well. This experience is something I will carry with me through my career, and I wish to congratulate all the finalists”
